

These photos are posted primarily for the Wire Wrap group and those who offered suggestions on how to wrap the two stones for my friend.
After trying several times, I finally came up with these - the flat stone has a somewhat traditional wrap with the wire along the sides and the malachite is obviously a freeform wrap. Both are done in copper wire - the flat stone with square wire and wrapped with half round, the malachite with round wire.

First one looks like a geode slice, is it and do you know if it can be tumbled?
I helped a friend wrap one but then we didn't know if it could be tumbled.

Your wire wrapped pieces are beautiful! I have never tried before... I have made a ton a links and components from wire... but never actually wrapped focal pieces! Great job!
