Wire Wrapped Pieces
These photos are posted primarily for the Wire Wrap group and those who offered suggestions on how to wrap the two stones for my friend.
After trying several times, I finally came up with these - the flat stone has a somewhat traditional wrap with the wire along the sides and the malachite is obviously a freeform wrap. Both are done in copper wire - the flat stone with square wire and wrapped with half round, the malachite with round wire.

I think you did a good job on both of the stones.
Hi Claire,
Nice work! I was going to respond in group but comments on the blog are nice too.
First one looks like a geode slice, is it and do you know if it can be tumbled?
I helped a friend wrap one but then we didn't know if it could be tumbled.
